Privacy Policy

This policy explains how I, Sacha Russo (ABN 89 487 529 294), collect, use and look after your personal information when you visit sacharusso.com.au, subscribe to my letters, buy a program or book a mentoring session. I follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

What I collect

  • Your name and email address when you sign up for my free guide or letters.
  • Your name, email address and payment details when you buy something. Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
  • Your booking details, and anything you choose to share with me before or during a mentoring session or in our emails.
  • Basic information about how you use my website and emails, such as pages visited and whether an email was opened. This comes from Google Analytics and my email service, using cookies and similar tools.

Some of what you share in mentoring may be personal or sensitive, such as how you are feeling or your family situation. I only collect this with your consent, keep it confidential and use it only to support you.

How I use it

  • To send you the guide, letters and emails you signed up for.
  • To deliver what you have bought and to run your mentoring sessions.
  • To reply when you contact me.
  • To understand what is helpful so I can improve my website and writing.

I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I only share it with the services I use to run my business (below) or where the law requires it.

Emails

I only email you if you have signed up or bought from me. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply and ask to be removed. I will act on it straight away.

Services I use, and where your information is stored

To run my business I use trusted services that store or handle information on my behalf, some of them outside Australia:

  • Website and letters: Ghost, hosted on a private server in Germany.
  • Email delivery: Mailgun (United States).
  • Payments: Stripe (Australia and the United States).
  • Email and bookings: Zoho (Australia).
  • Mentoring calls: Zoom (Zoom Video Communications, United States).
  • Website analytics: Google Analytics (Google, United States).

Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure connections, access limited to me and the people who help me run my systems, and trusted providers. I keep your information only for as long as I need it, then delete it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@sacharusso.com.au and I aim to reply within 5 business days, and always within 30 days.

Concerns or complaints

If you are worried about how I have handled your information, please email me first at hello@sacharusso.com.au and I aim to reply within 5 business days, and always within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
